On 24th February, Coole Bevis LLP became aware that it had been the target of a cyber-security incident.
Since that date we have undertaken a detailed investigation and instructed a number of external organisations, including IT specialists, to support us with this incident. We have also informed all the relevant authorities including the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO.)
Following investigations, we have been able to identify the access point and close this. We have acted in accordance with all steps advised by the ICO and Solicitors’ Regulation Authority (SRA) and both were satisfied to confirm no further action.
We have directly notified the very small number of individuals affected with further information and an offer of support.
