Laura is a Trainee Legal Executive in the Leasehold & Block Management department.

Laura has worked in the property industry for over 20 years. She gained experience of working in the prime central London market before joining Coole Bevis in 2015 when she relocated to Brighton.

Prior to joining the Leasehold department, Laura gained experience of working on a wide range of residential and commercial property transactions.

Laura specialises in:

• Statutory lease extensions under the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993;
• Non-statutory replacement leases and deeds of variation;
• Requirements for covenant approval including licences to alter and deeds of covenant;
• Right to manage claims under the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002 (CLRA 2002);
• Enfranchisement claims under the Leasehold Reform Act 1967 (LRA 1967); and
• General advice on residential leasehold and block management relating to leasehold flats (such as construction and interpretation of lease terms, statutory provisions and/or regulations).

Accreditations and achievements 

• Currently studying with CILEx law school nearing completion of her goal of becoming a qualified Legal Executive
