Alex is a Partner/LLP Member in the Private Client department with extensive experience advising on Wills, Trusts, Probate, and Estate Planning.

With a strong background in Private Client law, Alex provides legal advice to individuals and families, helping them navigate complex legal and financial matters. Alex has built strong relationships with local firms, including accountants and financial advisors, to ensure a comprehensive approach to client needs.

Alex is known for his client-focused approach, providing thoughtful and strategic solutions to safeguard wealth and legacy for future generations. He often acts for large families, providing legal guidance across multiple generations, which he finds particularly rewarding.

Over the years Alex has also built up a very strong specialism in the creation of Trusts and advising on their implementation and use in conjunction with estate planning.

• Court of Protection and elderly client matters

Accreditations and achievements 

• Graduated from both university and law school with First Class Honours.
• Achieved a Distinction in a further professional qualification with STEP.
• Qualified as a solicitor in 2004 at a local law firm before joining the legacy firm Woolley Bevis Diplock in 2005.
• Became a partner in 2007 and continued to serve clients following the firm’s merger in April 2016.
• Plays a key pivotal role in the continued steering of the firm’s direction and ensuring its long-term success.
• Proud of the Private Client department’s achievements, including recognition in the Legal 500 Directory, with personal mentions for both himself and colleagues.

Alex is also a member of the firm’s Executive Committee (ExCo) which is responsible for the future strategic direction of the practice and its day to day operations.
